Patient Registration and Eligibility

Appointments and Consultations
- Appointments can be booked through our reception desk, phone lines, or online portals.
- We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments in the event of emergencies, unavailability of doctors, or unavoidable circumstances. Patients will be informed of any such changes at the earliest.
- Patients are requested to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment. Delays may result in appointment rescheduling.
- If you are unable to attend an appointment, please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.
Payments and Billing
- All consultations, diagnostics, procedures, and services are chargeable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

- Patients are responsible for understanding their insurance policies and coverage. Akshita Hospitals does not guarantee insurance claim approvals and is not liable for denied or delayed claims.

- Medical records and test reports are the property of Akshita Hospitals but are made available to patients upon request.
- We respect your right to access your health information, subject to applicable laws and internal policies.
- Akshita Hospitals is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of all patient data in compliance with Indian privacy laws.
Visitor Policy
- Visiting hours and visitor access are regulated for the safety and comfort of patients.
- Only designated visitors are allowed in the patient wards and ICUs during specific visiting hours, unless emergency exemptions are granted.
- Visitors must follow hygiene and safety protocols such as wearing masks and sanitizing hands.
Emergency Services
- Our Emergency Department is open 24/7 for critical and life-threatening medical conditions.
- Emergency services are prioritized based on medical urgency and not on the time of arrival.
- All emergency treatments are subject to prompt billing. In the event of unconscious or unaccompanied patients, the hospital may proceed with lifesaving treatment under implied consent principles.
Conduct and Compliance
- Patients, caregivers, and visitors are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and follow hospital rules.
- Aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behavior towards staff or other patients will result in denial of services and possible legal action.
- Smoking, alcohol, and drug use are strictly prohibited on hospital premises.
Intellectual Property
- All content, including logos, images, text, and software on Akshita Hospitals’ website or promotional material, is the property of the hospital and is protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
